My several years' worth of local Stilly Valley photos has always inspired my art as paintings on canvas and digital art. Now it can be brought out and shared! The large hand-painted "Wildflower Festival" sign I painted years is still up there, with the familiar scene of White Horse Mountain ridge that we all love so much. We remember singing on Sunday morning at the elementary school, then the site of our church, and volunteering in the kitchen at the yearly Sauk-Suiattle Powwows.
Once you visit Darrington, you will understand why our hearts are still in Darrington. The scenery of the Upper Stilly has captured the imagination of visitors from all over the world and brings visitors back to the events, the people, and the scenery, alike.
